The largest for Estonia and neighboring countries event Õllesummer Festival will take place once again.
The legendary event, gathering music lovers from all over Estonia and from nearby countries in 2016 will be held from July 6 to 9 at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. At 23 in a row the festival will be set at ten sights, which will make more than 100 local and international artists.
Õllesummer appeared in the early nineties of the last century and has evolved into a significant musical event not only for Estonia, but also for the whole of the Baltic and Nordic countries. Special attention is paid to the gastronomic culture festival - besides performances of local and foreign star performers of the festival offers visitors nearly 200 commercial and entertainment outlets. This year the organizers promise to surprise the audience with several new directions for this festival.
How to get there
Walking
If you choose this option, it's 8-10 km briskly walking from Tallinn's center to the municipal district of Lasnamäe Raadik - will take you an hour and a half time.
By bus
Raadik district can be reached by bus number 35 or number 54 or number 67 from the center.
Nr 35 bus stop is located directly inside the shopping center "Viru" (bus terminal in it's basement) and is called «Viru keskus».
54 bus stop is located at Theater Square near the «Solaris» center called «Estonia».
Bus stops 67: one at the Theatre Square and called «Estonia», the other - at the beginning of the street Gonsiori called «Kunstiakadeemia».
For the buses 35 and 67 go to the bus stop «Raadiku». Bus 54 - bus stop «Kiviku».
Bus Nr 35 to Raadik area goes on weekdays every 23-25 minutes. It's the fastest way. Will take you 35-45 min to get there.
By taxi
Taxi drive from the city center is about 15-20 min and will cost around 10-15 euro.
