The French literally invented “apres-ski” so expect a week long festival in the Alps to completely pop off. The madness includes igloo raves, concerts held right on the slopes, and their very own club XX. Snowboxx is a relatively new to the ski fest landscape, showing off a combination of some amazing serenity and entrstainment with the view of Mont Blanc mid-March. Set around the scenic resort of Avoriaz, France, in the very centert of the Portes du Soleil region, it’s in close proximity from the more traditional and established haunt of Morzine.
There are plenty of late night drinking variants and good restaurants to quench anyone’s thirst before soaking up those suds, and, for the event in question at least, a seven day music programme typified by headline names and rising stars of the UK EDM, grime and house scenes.
With fancy-dress on the slopes, stages in the snow and parties in pools, ice caves and igloos, the week is one of mayhem on the mountain.
